News of the so-called 'elite cluster' has been getting everyone riled up on social media.

Healthcare workers have brought to light the ungrateful, rude and frankly appaling behaviour of some COVID-19 patients, especially those who had just returned from overseas.

One doctor detailed how it was so frustrating to deal with all sorts of antics by this group which she names as the group that had 'just come back from heaven'.

(Because they just balik from overseas lah)

She said that they refused to be quarantined, would scold the frontliners and even call them dogs and faeces cleaners ('pencacai najis').

Act like civilised people

On Friday (10 April), Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob chided the group from "heaven".

"COVID-19 does not distinguish between those that come from heaven and those at earth. Anyone can be infected," he said, hoping that the group would ammend their ways.

"Those with high status should be more civilised that others. I hope that they can cooperate with the frontliners especially the doctors, nurses and other healthcare workers," he said.

COVID-19 can't tell if you're 'atas' bro!
He said that if they continued to act in an unacceptable manner, by law, they could be charged for obstructing civil servants from carrying out their duties.

"Just because you have a high rank, it does not guarantee that you will be safe from COVID-19," he reminded.

So, basically, don't be rude pricks lah!

We're facing a pandemic. No one expected such a thing to happen and everyone is doing their best.

Don't expect a red carpet, cushioned seats or for you to be treated differently from anyone else.

Follow the instructions, do what is necessary and in the meantime, get someone to help you with that attitude issue as well, 'kay?
