Also detained during the same mission were activists from multiple countries, including Greta Thunberg, a well-known Swedish activist, and Nelson Mandela's grandson.

Meanwhile, fellow activist Haikal claimed that his hand was stepped on by IDF soldiers, resulting in injuries to multiple fingers that required further treatment.

“Several other Malaysian activists, including PU Rahmat, Heliza, and Hazwani Helmi, were also subjected to similar treatment. However, the others are in good health after undergoing medical check-ups upon their arrival in Turkiye yesterday,” Fahmi added.

Centhra will be recording statements from all Malaysian activists regarding the brutality they faced once they return home.

“These statements will include their experiences on board the ship, during detention, and until their release from Ketziot Prison. A chronology of the torture and inhumane treatment will be documented."

"If sufficient evidence is found, we plan to file a complaint with the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) to exert pressure on Israel,” he added.

In a post on Threads, Ardell Aryana’s husband, Nadzmi Adhwa, recently expressed his anger over the cruel treatment of his wife by IDF soldiers.

He also shared that, aside from bruises, Ardell suffered a torn shoulder tissue after being assaulted.

According to Nadzmi, he speculated that his wife was treated harshly because she was one of the most prominent activists involved in the humanitarian mission.
