MYAirline: Is There Another Low-Cost Airline In The Horizon?
It feels like it was only yesterday that everyone was discussing and debating Air Asia’s ticketing issues, angering domestic and international passengers.
Today, a brand new airline called MYAirline posted a number of job openings on their new website.
MYAirline was first announced in January this year after the company was granted an Air Service License (ASL) on the 22nd December, 2021. This comes after the approval of two new airlines by the Malaysian Aviation Commission, despite the aviation industry being the hardest hit during the pandemic.
Reports indicate that MYAirline is now managed by former heavyweights in the industry including Datuk Goh Hwan Hua, Datuk Abd Hamid Mohd Ali, Datuk Seri Azharuddin Abdul Rahman.
According to sources, the shareholders at MYAirline felt it was the right time to start a brand new airline post pandemic, with the idea of taking in pilots and cabin crew who were retrenched during the pandemic.
If you’re interested in being part of the aviation industry, this might be your chance. Check out their openings on the link here.
