Many people have been concentrating on increasing numbers of COVID-19 cases in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, but numbers are also rising in other parts of the country.

In fact, in a tweet, the Ministry of Health said that the latest recorded red zone was in Muar, Johor.

According to MOH data (as of 12pm, 14 April), Muar now has 44 positive COVID-19 cases.

We now have a total of 27 red zones in the country.

How are zones defined?

So, what does it mean to be living in a red zone?

It means that you are in an area or district that has recorded more than 41 cases.

The other coloured zones are:

Orange - between 20 to 40 cases.
Yellow - between 1 to 19 cases.
Green - zero cases.

People are also recovering though

Earlier MOH also released the total number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in the country.

A total of 49.69% (woah, that's almost half) which comes up to 2,478 people have recovered so far.
It is also important to note that 82 people have died from the disease locally.
