Stray cat from Malaysia crowned world champion after winning hearts at competition in Norway

Baby, a 9-year-old cat owned by a Malaysian couple, Shaharudin Shuib and Rooaida Mohd Darus, won the top title at the FIFe International Cat Show in Oslo, Norway. Baby won the championship after triumphing over 1,500 other feline contestants.

The couple originally rescued Baby from the street. In addition to winning the title with her character, she also wowed the judge with her soft fur, which Shaharudin himself meticulously handled.

Lyia Meta becomes first-ever Malaysian singer to be nominated for prestigious Grammy Awards

An independent local artist, Lyia Meta made history after she became the first Malaysian singer to be nominated for the Grammy Awards. Her collaboration song with Latin-American musician Antonio Vergara, Delta Shine, was nominated for Best Contemporary Blues Album.

The result of the 2025 Grammy will be revealed during the 67th edition of the famous music awards ceremony on 2nd February 2025 in Los Angeles, USA.
