Selangor Civil Servants To Receive 1-Month Hari Raya Bonus, Contribution To Tabung Harapan Negara
Looks like our fellow friends and family who are serving as Selangor civil servants will have an extra celebration to look forward to this Hari Raya.
Selangor Chief Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali has announced that the state government is giving away one-month salary bonus to 17,109 of its civil servants.
The bonus is part of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri special allowance which totals to RM31.2 million and will be paid out on 25 June.
Selangor civil servants be like... “The allowance will be given after Aidilfitri because we do not want civil servants to overspend during Aidilfitri,” Azmin said during an event as reported by the New Straits Times.
Apart from the bonus, civil servants will also have to contribute 10 per cent of their bonus to the Tabung Harapan Negara.
However, this is only applicable to those with the grade DG44 and above only.
"I am confident that civil servants in Selangor are very patriotic. They are answering the call to assist us in this noble effort to reduce the debt left behind by the previous administration.”
Azmin Ali after the Hari Raya bonus announcement. "So, in the spirit of our love for the country, civil servants in Selangor will contribute 10 per cent of their Raya special allowance to Tabung Harapan Malaysia," he was quoted as saying.
Now the question is… when will we be getting our Hari Raya bonus or ‘duit raya’, boss?
