Viral Security Guard Who Fought MMA Trainer Apologises, Admits He Struggles to Control His Temper
The security guard who went viral for engaging in a physical fight with an MMA trainer has since broken his silence and apologised to Malaysians for his behaviour.
Muhammad Alim Muhamad Adnizam, 24, said the altercation between him and MMA trainer Tony Lim stemmed from an earlier misunderstanding. According to Alim, at the time of the incident, he was about to finish his shift at a condominium in Selangor when Lim approached him.

“I'm not a fighter. I don't even know silat. Nothing. The whole thing happened all of a sudden. There was already a misunderstanding between us. I couldn't stay calm, and the fight broke out. I know I'm a hot-tempered person. I was just doing my job, but don't provoke me,” he said, as reported by Harian Metro.
“I thought the problem was settled, but then a friend told me the video had gone viral.”
Alim said that after the incident, both he and Tony lodged police reports and even shook hands, agreeing not to share the footage online.
However, a few days later, Alim found out from a friend that the video had been shared online and had gone viral. He added that some of his relatives had also come across the video and began asking him questions.
“I was shocked. I didn't expect it to go that viral. I was embarrassed, but I had no choice but to put on a brave face since I live with my family,” he said.
It is understood that this is not the first such incident involving Alim. According to him, he had a previous altercation with another individual, but it never made it to social media.

It was reported that Alim received four stitches on his lip following the fight. Additionally, he was transferred to another residential area in Puchong by his employer. Despite the incident, Alim said he was thankful to still have his job.
“The lesson here is that I need to control my temper. When this happened, it not only affected me but also my family. I need to learn to stay calm in any situation since anything can go viral these days."
"I also want to apologise to all Malaysians and my family for what happened. The case is still under investigation, so I can't say much and will just wait for the outcome,” Alim said.
