You Could Be Summoned By The Police If You Don't Stand Up During "Negaraku"
You know how we were taught in school to always stand up straight when our national anthem "Negaraku" starts playing?
Now that you've left school, you'd think that it's fine if you just remain seated when the national anthem plays.
Boy, you're so wrong.

It was believed that the incident happened during a dinner event held in Kuching recently.
A 20-second video of the incident is making its rounds on social media, having been shared more than 4,700 times.
Despite being called in to have their statements recorded, Sarawak Police Deputy Commissioner Datuk Dev Kumar told the news agency that none of them were detained.
“Based on the report, police started an investigation under Section 8 (3) of the National Anthem Act 1968,” he was quoted as saying.
It is believed that the individuals' action was a show of protest over the federal government’s alleged unkept promises to the state.
But whatever is it, guys, do respect the "Negaraku" when it's played. You don't want to pay a visit to the balai polis, do you?
