We usually hear stories of people finding hidden cameras in hotel rooms or public toilets. While such incidents are deeply concerning and often shared as cautionary tales, one woman discovered a hidden camera concealed in something far more unexpected.
The woman, who identified herself only as Anne, 26, discovered a hidden spy camera inside a graduation bouquet she had received last November. To make matters worse, she had kept the bouquet in her room for the past three months.
According to a report by Berita Harian, Anne discovered the device after her sister noticed that her husband’s smartphone had received a pairing notification from a Bluetooth device with a suspicious name.

Curious about the unknown Bluetooth connection, the family decided to connect to the device, only to be prompted to download a mobile application called IWF Camera.
Upon installing the app, the screen revealed a live broadcast of Anne’s bedroom, showing her bed and a spinning ceiling fan.
Anne said that before the discovery, she had placed the bouquet in her room, facing her bed.
After inspecting the bouquet, the family discovered a small camera with a red indicator light embedded within the arrangement. They also found that the floral foam inside the bouquet concealed a power bank used to keep the camera running. It is believed that the device used a Wi‑Fi connection to stream the live feed.
Police report filed
A police report has since been lodged at the Kuantan district police headquarters. Anne added that the investigating officer noted this was the first known case involving a camera hidden inside a flower bouquet.

Police believe the device may have been installed by an external supplier before the bouquets were distributed to event vendors. The case is currently being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code for insulting the modesty of a person.
Anne initially shared her story online but later deleted the post following accusations directed at her family members.
She explained that she had posted about the incident on Threads but decided to take it down after receiving negative comments and baseless accusations from other social media users.
According to Anne, some members of the public had even accused her brother-in-law and her 11-year-old nephew of being involved.
“It’s not logical that my nephew would place the hidden camera in the bouquet. While he did give it to me, I was the one who asked my sister to buy it from a local vendor at the convocation site,” she said.
