HOFELE-Design have been in the bespoke luxury business for some time now, and have made a name for themselves creating outlandishly luxurious versions of top tier Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Case in point, their recently spawned HE Cabriolet and HG Sport were creations based on the Mercedes-AMG E 53 Cabriolet and G 63 respectively.

Now, HOFELE has gotten their hand on the Mercedes-Benz GLS full-sized SUV, and have created the HOFELE Ultimate HGLS, a seven-seat luxury barge unlike any other.

Seen here based on the GLS 400d, HOFELE offers enhancements to the entire GLS range with either six or seven seats, starting from the GLS 350d, all the way to the beastly Mercedes-AMG GLS 63. A gorgeous two-tone finish, HOFELE call this trim their “Ultimate Series”, befits the level of bespoke opulence found splashed all over this 5.2-metre long behemoth.

Aside from the two-tone finish, the Ultimate HGLS can be seen fitted with huge 22-inch Mythos alloy wheels designed by HOFELE and finished in chrome.

As stunning as the exterior is, the interior is where true luxury lies. While the standard GLS interior is quite utilitarian, the interior of this Ultimate HGLS is of the highest level of quality and oozes debonair sophistication. HOFELE has combined the latest in computer-guided production methods and the finest Nappa leathers to create perfectly stitched and perforated leather upholstery. Alcantara headliners, lambswool carpets and other contemporary materials create a quality finish that suits the premium levels warranted in this segment of ultra-luxury vehicles.

For those in the know, you’d know that Mercedes already have an ultra-luxury version of the GLS, called the Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600. However, the Maybach is a strict four-seater meant for the oligarchs and wealthiest billionaires of the world. The HOFELE Ultimate HGLS, on the other hand, offers similar levels of luxury while retaining its people-carrying capabilities. Because HOFELE know, a good time is best enjoyed with the company of others.
