Talking about a career change.

For the past couple of years, you can count on Hong Kong legend Jackie Chan to entertain fans with a brand new movie almost every other year.

This year is no different, although the genre is different.

The 63-year-old actor has recently revealed that he will be releasing his brand new music album later this year.

Yup, that's right; not movie - a music album.

Confused?
According to a report by Oriental Daily (which was translated by The Star Online), the music album took him three years to finish due to his ungodly busy schedule.

Chan said during an event in Beijing, China recently that he had a lot of help from his friends in the entertainment industry to produce the album, which will be released sometime in August this year.

In fact, he even appointed his son Jaycee as the music director.

Not sure how that's going to turn out, but as long as you're happy, Mr. Chan!

In case you were wondering, this is not Chan's first foray into singing.

Before he started making awesome kungfu movies, he was surprisingly a pretty good singer, having produced tonnes of records back in the 1980s.

He has 10 full-length studio albums under his name, with the last one titled 'With All One's Heart' released in 2002.
