Jared Leto Allegedly Tried To Cancel ‘Joker’ Standalone Film Because He’s Not In It
Director Todd Philipps’ ‘Joker’, starring the phenomenal Joaquin Phoenix, is currently taking the box office by storm.
The standalone film about the infamous Gotham villain received rave reviews not only from fans but from critics as well.
But for one person, the new ‘Joker’ film may not be his cup of tea. In fact, he tried to cancel the whole thing from the get-go.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Jared Leto, who played Joker in 'Suicide Squad', complained about the new 'Joker' movie to both his movie and music agents, and he allegedly asked them to get in touch with Warner Bros.’ parent company and tried to get them to cancel the movie.

Sadly, Leto received just about 10 minutes of screen time in the film.
“Sources say Leto told his agents that they should stop the rival project, arguing that he wasn’t being treated properly as an Oscar winner,” The Hollywood Reporter wrote.
Wow, doesn't he sound like someone who feels he's entitled and is in dire need of a slice of humble pie?

On top of that, he will no longer play the iconic villain in the Harley Quinn’s ‘Bird of Prey’ spin-off, as well as the ‘Suicide Squad 2’ sequel directed by James Gunn.
So, who do you think did a better job at playing the Joker? Jared Leto or Joaquin Phoenix?
