If you don't know what any of the words in the title mean then, we're actually quite surprised you clicked on this. But if you're a Final Fantasy fan you already know how big of a deal this is.

Yes, Yoshida Naoki (Yoshi-P to his friends), the man who single-handedly revitalised the Final Fantasy franchise is coming to Malaysia, 1 July at Sunway Pyramid and 80 lucky Malaysians stand a chance to meet him in person, shake his hand, and ask him about Final Fantasy 7 Part 2.

To be in the running to be one of the 80 people selected to go follow these instructions:

1. Pre-order any disc version of Final Fantasy XVI (Standard/Deluxe/Collector’s Edition) through authorised retailers*

2. Submit proof of pruchase and enter the contest with this form

3. Entries with the best answers will be selected as the winners. (Entries opens on 25th May 2023 till 18th June 2023)

There are two tie-breaker questions, who is your favourite Eikon (summons as us vets will know) and what question would you like to ask Yoshi-P.

Final Fantasy 16 is the newest game from developer Square Enix and it has been 7 years since the launch of the tumultuous Final Fantasy 15. The first game in the franchise, Final Fantasy I actually launched in 1987, the year this writer was born, and Final Fantasy 16 actually launches on this writer's birthday, 22 June! If you like us here at Rojak Daily, maybe give us a shout (or the game) on the 22nd.

Pre-orders for FINAL FANTASY XVI physical editions (Standard, Deluxe and Collector’s Edition) ware open and physical pre-order customers will receive a B5 Notebook. Check with local retailers for details of the physical pre-order mechanic.

Moreover, all pre-orders (both physical and digital) will receive pre-order bonus: Braveheart (Weapon) DLC and Cait Sith Charm (Gil Boost Accessory) DLC.
