If you haven’t jumped on the Instagram Stories bandwagon even once in your social media life, you’re missing out.

Although it is nice to stay connected and updated, sometimes you may miss out on these life snippets by your friends or favourite personalities that only last 24 hours because they get drowned out by the hundreds (or thousands) of people you follow.

Now, Instagram might just be doing something to make sure that people keep coming back for more Stories.

According to Amanz, the popular photo-sharing platform is testing out a larger thumbnail for Instagram Stories compared to the previous round thumbnail displayed at the top of the application, and sometimes in between scrolling.

How often do you watch everyone's Instagram Stories?
With this larger thumbnail, users will also be able to preview the content of the Stories.

At the moment, you can only see this larger thumbnail as you’re scrolling down the regular posts. The row of Stories at the top will still show thumbnails in the same little circle.

Let’s see if this new update will get more people to watch your exciting Stories too!
