The Survival Master Sea has been given a new watch face, incorporating a ‘panda face’, which really are the two-black subdials on the yellow face. The quartz chronograph sits within a 45mm Carbonox+ case with sapphire crystal glass and an anti-reflective coating. The Carbonox+ is said to be stronger, have improved tensile strength, three times less water absorption than the regular Carbonox. The screw-in caseback and screw-down crowns give the watch a 300m water resistance depth, suitable for diving into water from a helicopter.
Another highlight feature is the compass that can be detached from the strap to help you navigate. The 3745 is additionally equipped with a uni-directional turning dive bezel with indicators for the four cardinal directions. And if you look properly at the minute tracker, you’ll find the S.O.S. in Morse code for times where you need to send smoke signals.
