Here's heartwarming story to cheer up your day.

An 81-year-old man who frequents a curry laksa and asam laksa stall was unable to do so due to certain circumstances. However, he got his cravings satisfied thanks to the kind seller.

According to a report in Malay Mail, it all started when the stall owner’s daughter received a call from the man asking about the delivery charges to Sungai Buloh.

He wanted to order two curry laksa but upon finding out that the delivery fee would be RM22, which is more than the price of the noodles, he decided not to proceed with the order.

Kindness is priceless

“I mentioned to him that it’s not worth it and we ended the call.

“But I could feel his disappointment and it broke my heart,” the daughter wrote on the stall’s Facebook page, O&S Curry Laksa and Asam Laksa.

The daughter then informed her parents about the incident and they decided to treat the man to free curry laksa.

The daughter also shared a screenshot of her conversations with the man.

She found out that he is currently taking care of his wife who has dementia and used to visit the stall frequently.

“A little reminder, when you give joy to others, you get more joy in return.

“And thank you to all of you for the continuous support to my mom-and-pop’s stall in the past years. We would not be able to make it to this point without your support, we’re grateful,” she wrote.

In difficult times like this, a little kindness indeed goes a long way!
