We have plenty of malls around the Klang Valley, but one thing that we can't get enough of are bookstores.

They are just a handful of bookstores around the Klang Valley, and sometimes, looking for that one title can be quite difficult.

Don't worry, bookworms: another potential bookstore is coming to save the day!

More books coming your way

A new bookstore is coming your way.
Oriental Daily
reported that one of the biggest bookstore chains in Taiwan, Eslite, is looking at opening a store in Kuala Lumpur.

The daily, quoting a report by Taiwan’s Central News Agency, said that Eslite Living's chairman Wu Minjie is looking at expanding their bookstore business into Malaysia as soon as 2021.

Details about the Malaysian branch are scarce at the moment, but it will very likely to be the first Eslite Bookstore in Southeast Asia.

Let's hope it operates 24 hours too!
According to the report, the bookstore will most likely be located "in the heart of KL city center" and an esimated "3,300 to 6,600 square meters" in size.

That's a pretty big bookstore, if you ask us.

Established in 1989, Eslite has a total of 48 branches, including two in China, one in Hong Kong and another in Japan.

They also have branches in China, Hong Kong and Japan.
On top of that, Eslite was also the first bookstore in Taiwan to operate 24 hours, attracting night-time shoppers.

We just hope that the Malaysian branch operates 24 hours too, so we can practically sleep inside the bookstore.
