FB Group With 12K Followers Exposed for Using Images of Underage Girls in Uniform to Fuel Pedophilic Fantasies
Recently, a Facebook group went viral for posting photos of underage girls in school uniforms. As if that wasn’t disturbing enough, the comments from group members made many Malaysians sick to their core.
It was reported that the Facebook group, named Group Budak2 Sekolah Rendah, has been active since May 2014. The public group had garnered over 12,000 followers.
Not only did the group post photos of young girls without consent, but its followers also left lewd comments on each photo.
The pedophilic group was first brought to light through a post on X (formerly Twitter):

“Disgusting FB group!! This FB group is so disgusting. You better check in case your boyfriend, husband, father, or grandfather is in this group. It's revolting reading their comments."
The post added, "Some of them look to be in their 50s, yet they still write disgusting comments on photos of underage girls.”
The group also caught the attention of local rap artist Caprice, who posted about it on his Instagram. Meanwhile, local influencer Mekyun discovered that an old school photo of hers had also been posted in the group.
On her Instagram, Mekyun shared a video expressing how disappointed and disgusted she felt after learning that her school photo had been uploaded without her consent.
According to Mekyun, she first found out about it after receiving DMs from other social media users. What's even more disturbing were the many lewd comments left on her photo by group members.
“This is not a joke. This is not for fun. This is wrong, and it's a crime. Today, we speak out because we can't let this behaviour go unchecked. All of us need to be the voice for the children. I urge PDRM, MCMC, and YB Fahmi Fadzil to investigate and put a stop to this. These are kids who don’t even know their photos are being posted without consent.”
It is also understood that Mekyun has filed a police report regarding the issue. She also went to Bukit Aman Police Headquarters to further discuss the matter.
The Facebook group has since ‘disappeared’ from the platform
Following the serious backlash, the group has since ‘disappeared’ from Facebook, as reported by Sinar Harian.
However, it remains unclear whether the group was taken down by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) or if the group’s visibility was simply changed to ‘private’ by its admin.
