Man’s Decomposed Body Found In A Suitcase In Klang River
A decomposed body of a man was found in a suitcase by a cleaner in Klang River last Saturday at around 8.30pm. The suitcase got caught in a waste trap along Jalan Harper where a similar discovery was made merely a month ago.
North Klang OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Yusoff Mamat said the unidentified man’s legs were tied together with a nylon rope. The man is believed to have been murdered gruesomely after slash marks were found on his skull. No identification documents were found on his body.
"The victim had grey hair and was wearing dentures. He is about 168cm tall and was fully dressed. He was found wearing an 'Arrow' brand collared short-sleeve chequered shirt, brown knee-length pants, and a Bonia belt”, ACP Mohd Yusoff told reporters yesterday.
The deceased was wearing an Oris watch on his left wrist along with a magnetic bracelet on his right. It is believed that the watch stopped ticking on August 31st at either 5.50am or 5.50pm. Not only that, an inhaler was also found on the left side of his pocket.

Police suspected the man was killed somewhere else and his body was dumped afterwards based on the injuries on his head. The John Doe was believed to be dead for at least two weeks. The body has been sent to Hospital Shah Alam for a post-mortem.On August 25th, a decomposed body of a women was found stuck at the same place in a luggage bag. The culprit has been caught and charged in court and does not have any relation to this case.
According to ACP Mohd Yusoff, 18 bodies have been found near the same waste trap over the past three years.
