Well, some very pandai people are actually reselling the meal (without the food and drink inside) on Shopee and Carousell now.
Some of the prices offered are actually quite mad.
Making money from fans
We found one on seller on Shopee offering the BTS McDonald's meal including the nugget box, cup, paper bag, sweet chilli & cajun sauce for RM59.90.The same seller later reduced the price to RM33.90 and included a tag saying that the item had 'sold out'.
The 'sold' tag on Shopee itself however, still showed '0'.
Crazy prices
Meanwhile, on Carousell, user falloutleya is letting go of just the paperbag from the BTS meal for RM50.
"Smooth like butter, this paperbag's wrinkles too can disappear! In near perfect condition, this exclusive paperbag can be yours today."
"A mist have for ami collectors, I'm willing to iron it so that the crumples will be gone for you. hehe," the user wrote in the description.
Falloutleya adds "P.S. this is not a troll. I'll even give you ami goodies if you get it.".
As of 3.40pm, no one liked the post on Carousell or bought the paper bag.
We also noticed that Falloutleya is selling the cup from the set for RM35 on the same platform.
Just buy it from McDonald's
A host of other sellers have also appeared on the platform in hopes of getting someone to purchase the limited edition set from them.The full set is being sold from between RM10 to RM30.
The crazy thing is that the set is still available at McDonalds.
All you have to do is wait in line a bit because the queue is slightly long due to all the fans waiting to grab the meal.
