According to Johor Bahru South Deputy Police Chief Superintendent Ng Swie Chait, a police report was lodged at 6:11 PM after a video of the incident was discovered circulating on social media at around 2 AM yesterday.

The three suspects, aged between 28 and 36, were arrested at a restaurant in Taman Maju Jaya at about 9:30 PM the same day.
"Police also seized an MPV believed to be connected to the case. One of the three suspects has a previous criminal record. All three suspects tested negative for drugs."
The case is being investigated under Section 377D of the Penal Code, which covers acts of gross indecency and carries a jail term of up to two years upon conviction.
Ng said investigation papers will be completed before being referred to the Deputy Public Prosecutor for further action.
Earlier, a 16-second video uploaded to social media showed three men stopping by the side of the highway to urinate while their MPV was parked with its hazard lights switched on.
