Tripadvisor is the world's largest travel platform and has 463 million travelers visiting their site each month. Each year, The Travelers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best title “celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel”.
These are awarded to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over 12 months. Out of their eight million listings, fewer than 1% achieve this milestone.
One of their list of the Best of the Best Things to Do shortlisted the 25 Top Attractions – Asia. As their site reads, “From natural wonders to man-made marvels, these are the most-loved attractions in the world—according to the travelers who ‘ooh-ed’ and 'ahh-ed' at them.”

Three Malaysian attractions have proudly landed on the list including the Royal Selangor Visitor Centre at No.6 where you can wander through intriguing museum exhibits and witness real-time pewter crafting.

To nobody’s surprise the Petronas Twin Towers landed at no.12.
MinNature Malaysia claimed the no.23 spot. The latter claims to be the largest permanent indoor miniature exhibition in Asia and the third largest in the world. It includes intricate dioramas of local landmarks such as the KL Tower and the Thean Hou Temple.

Our Southern neighbour Singapore, clinched the no.1 spot with Gardens by the Bay, as well as the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Cloud Forest, and the National Orchid Garden at no.16,no.17, and no.24, respectively. Meanwhile Thailand’s Wat Phra Chetuphon, Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), Big Buddha Phuket, and The Grand Palace placed at no.9, no.11,no.12, and no.25, respectively.
