Can you imagine just minding your own business and parking your car by the side of the road, only for it to be ploughed down by an unmanned lorry?

That’s exactly what happened near a commercial area when a lorry moved on its own and crashed into five parked vehicles along Jalan Persiaran Damai Perdana, Kajang.

According to Kajang District Police Chief Assistant Commissioner Naazron Abdul Yusof, initial investigations suggest that the lorry had been parked on the road shoulder when the driver stepped away to have lunch.

The lorry eventually began moving on its own and rammed into several vehicles parked on both sides of the road. Dashcam footage also shows one man managing to move out of the way just moments before the lorry rolled forward.

Thankfully, no injuries were reported among those involved.
