US President Donald Trump May Pay Malaysia A Visit Soon

Don't want, can?

A couple of weeks after the historic meeting between US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un took place in Singapore, it looks like President Trump has set his sights on visiting a destination: Malaysia.
The Star Online reported that the US government is thinking about the possibility of the 72-year-old dropping by Malaysia for a visit later this year.
White House National Security Council senior director for Asian affairs Matthew Pottinger told the news portal that Trump's visit could happen after the 33rd Asean summit, which is scheduled to take place from 11 to 15 November in Singapore.
The reason for the visit, according to Pottinger, is to "deepen our comprehensive partnership with Malaysia".
Who's ready for a surprise visit?
However, we do not know if our Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad would be open to meeting President Trump.
Dr M recently told New York Times in an interview that he has no plans to meet up with the US president in the foreseeable future.
The nonagenarian even labeled President Trump as "volatile" and he does not know how to "deal with a person who is so much like a chameleon".
Maybe former Prime Minister Najib Razak could go to the mamak with President Trump, since they are buddies and all?
