17 Roads in Klang Valley & Putrajaya That Will Be Closed From April 15-17 for the Visit of China's President

Following the official visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping to Malaysia, a number of 17 roads across Klang Valley and Putrajaya will be temporarily closed from Tuesday (April 15) to Thursday (April 17).

As reported by NST, Federal Police Traffic Enforcement and Investigation Department Director Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri said the road closures will be done in stages and will last between 30 to 45 minutes. This is to allow safe passage for the delegation.

A number of 378 officers and personnel would be deployed to escort dignitaries, manage traffic and endorse road regulations during the visit.

Below is the list of the roads affected and the timing for the temporary closure:

April 15 (6 pm)

  • Lebuh KLIA
  • North-South Motorway Central Link (ELITE)
  • Putrajaya Ring Road
  • Putrajaya-Dengkil Highway
  • Persiaran Selatan
  • Lebuh Gemilang
  • Jalan P5

April 16 (9:30 am & 12:30 pm)

  • Jalan P5
  • Lebuh Gemilang
  • Persiaran Selatan
  • Putrajaya-Dengkil Highway
  • Putrajaya Ring Road
  • Maju Motorway (MEX)
  • Shah Alam Motorway (KESAS)
