A group of 50 masked men was caught on CCTV storming into a KTV centre in Cheras and damaging the property in a brazen broad‑daylight attack.
Based on CCTV footage that has since gone viral on social media, the incident took place yesterday (5 April) at Taman Shamelin. A lorry was seen ramming into the KTV’s gate twice before the masked group entered the premises through the opening.

Berita Harian reported that the individuals were also seen carrying weapons resembling iron rods and wooden sticks as they stormed the premises.
Several pieces of equipment at the KTV were reportedly damaged during the incident. So far, no injuries have been reported.
Motive unclear
While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, the Cheras District Police Headquarters (IPD) is investigating whether it was related to revenge, debt, or a dispute.
Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Datuk Fadil Marsus confirmed the incident after his department received a report on the matter.
