Just last month, social media was abuzz with the discovery and capture of a massive crocodile weighing almost 800kg in a monsoon drain behind a school in Sarawak.

Just when we thought the coast is clear, the state was stunned by another discovery of a giant crocodile.

Monster croc spotted

Oh my, what a big croc you are!
The Star Online reported that the Wildlife rescue team from the Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) has recently rescued a giant crocodile from an oil palm plantation in Niah, Sarawak.

The almost five-meter long (!!!) giant crocodile was reportedly spotted by several plantation workers inside a stream.

The rescue team, together with several firemen from the Batu Niah station, rushed to the scene after being alerted by the workers.

Thankfully, the team managed to subdue the reptile without any incident.

According to the SFC, the monster croc has reportedly been sent to the Benaya Farm in Kuala Baram.

With so many crocodile sightings in Sarawak recently, it's always good to be vigilant.

If you happen to spot one, don't be a hero and report the sighting to the SFC immediately via its hotlines 019-8859996 for Kuching, 019-8883561 for Sibu, 019-8223449 for Bintulu and 019-8224566 for Miri.

You definitely do not want to mess with a giant croc that is more than two times your size.
