Germany Was Shockingly Booted Out Of The World Cup And The Memes Are Hilarious

It was a do-or-die battle for the reigning world champions as it will decide whether they will qualify to the next stage, which is the Round of 16.

The second half of the game left us restless as the Korean oppas were performing exceptionally well. True enough, team K-Pop managed to score two goals and shockingly sent Germany away empty-handed and packing for home.

What ensued after the game was, naturally, disappointment from German fans, but what really caught our attention was the hilarious memes and mean tweets about their loss.

Some also attributed their loss to the "curse of the champions" which befell former winners France, Italy, and Spain, who, like Germany, were all knocked out in the group stages after they won the previous World Cup.
