Since the Movement Control Order (MCO) was announced, nights in Malaysia has not been the same.

We're a country that loves food and that too food 24/7.

Well, now, fellow Malaysians, we can rejoice a little because the peeps up there have decided to extend operating hours for restaurants and convenience stores to 2am!

YEAY!

Jumpa kat mamak!

Extension approved.
According to a report by The Star, Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob made the announcement pertaining to the matter on Thursday (10 September).

He said that the extension of operating hours was agreed upon by the National Security Council following complaints by operators who have been losing money for months now.

“There have been complaints, especially in tourist areas like Langkawi. Entertainment is still not allowed, so all that tourists can do is eat and restaurant owners have asked for an extension of operation hours.

“MKN has agreed to allow food outlets and convenience stores to open until 2am,” he said.

So good news but please please please la Malaysians, don't abuse this k.

Wear your masks, practice social distancing and the works.

You know the drill!
