M’sian Women Confront Man Allegedly Caught Secretly Recording Them at a Mamak Restaurant

In a TikTok video that has since gone viral, the group noticed a man who appeared to be secretly recording them. To confirm their suspicions, one of the girls confronted him. However, he denied the accusation. Unconvinced by his response, the owner of the video joined her friend to confront the man again.

Eventually, the group discovered a video of themselves on the man’s phone. The woman who recorded the TikTok said she immediately snatched the phone to prevent him from deleting or sharing the footage. While checking the device, she also found other videos of women—some of whom were dressed provocatively.

“At that point, we were furious. We didn’t care who was watching—we just shouted at him. He admitted to secretly recording us but claimed it was only once. However, I found multiple videos of us on his phone. That’s why we kept watching him. We planned to drag him to the police station, which was conveniently just next door.”

Later in the video, one of the girls can be seen demanding the man explain why he recorded them. The video’s owner added that although the man apologised profusely, the group insisted on taking him to the police.

“He actually tried to run away and left his phone with us. But thankfully, another customer stepped in and helped bring him to the police station with us. Thank you to that person,” she wrote.

As of this article, the video has garnered over 300,000 views on TikTok. Many viewers expressed shock and anger over the man’s actions, while others praised the girls for their courage.

“What’s wrong with some men these days? I’m a guy too, but I’d never act like this. This is too much!”
