No More Facebook App On Huawei Phones? It May Be The Case For New Models
New Huawei phones will no longer come with pre-installed apps owned by Facebook Inc, New Straits Times reported.
This move came after the US government banned Huawei's purchase of American parts and products.
As such, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp will not come pre-installed in any of Huawei's phones that are leaving the factory, even if it is an older model.
Current users, however, can still use the apps as usual and will be able to update them as well.

The software, however, can still be used on older phone models.
Huawei has promised to work around the ban but it is yet to announce what the measures taken are exactly.
It looks like Huawei users will have to turn to WeChat in the future for their social media needs.
