Top on the list is an advise to postpone all mass gathering involving the public.
The other advises by MOH include:
- For individuals with respiratory tract infection symptoms to refrain from attending events or programs in public places, including religious activities.
- For individuals with symptoms to practice social distancing. This means keeping at least 1 metre away from other individuals.
- For the public to not travel to countries affected by Covid-19.
- For those with respiratory tract infection symptoms to not visit or travel to other parts of Malaysia during the upcoming school break.
Cases increased but some have fully recovered
In the statement, MOH also said that a total of 26 confirmed Covid-19 cases have fully recovered and been discharged in the country.
As of 12 pm, 11 March, Malaysia has recorded a total of 149 confirmed Covid-19 cases.
Additionally, MOH also said that all 66 Malaysians and family members who were brought back from Wuhan, China had been allowed to return to their homes after multiple tests showed that they were negative for Covid-19.
