Remember how our parents used to smack us if we didn’t listen to them?

Well, that was exactly what a security guard did to a motorcyclist at a toll plaza recently.

Motorcyclists causing delays

Mohammad Yahya lightly smacked a motorcyclist for not using the dedicated lane at the Kampung Lekir West Coast Expressway toll plaza recently.



According to a report by Malay Mail, Mohammad Yahya had asked a convoy of motorcyclists to use the proper motorcycle lane, but they blatantly ignored his orders multiple times.

Their actions also caused obstruction and delay for other road users and triggered the emergency siren at the toll plaza.

A frustrated Mohammad Yahya then smacked one of the motorcyclists who was trying to slip through the boom gate.



“It was only a smack, and it wasn’t that hard at all.

“I did it to teach the rider and his friends a lesson and for not obeying my orders on using the proper motorcycle lane,” he told Harian Metro as quoted in Malay Mail.

Mohammad Yahya also apologised if his action caused anyone to feel uncomfortable as a video of the incident was shared on Info Roadblock JPJ/Polis Facebook page.

“I apologise if my actions caused some to feel uncomfortable, but these riders need to be taught a lesson,” he said.

As for netizens, most of them were in support of Mohammad Yahya with some saying that he should have hit harder.
