Hate that bright screen every time you open WhatsApp on your computer?

Well, that issue will soon be over cause WhatsApp has officially come up with a dark mode for their web and desktop versions.



Announced on July 1, the company said that along with the dark mode, other features like QR Codes to add contacts, group video call improvements, and animated stickers would also be added.

According to a report in Mashable SEA, the dark mode looks like the mobile version that was released in March 2020, with dark green chat bubbles, darker bars, and a darker chat background.



The official release date has not been announced yet but for dark mode lovers - like some of us at Rojak Daily - it's great news!

Now, let's hope that they release it soon!
