This Is Your Chance To Star in Chiu Keng Guan’s Next Film! Submit Your Reel by 6 June 2022

Acclaimed director Chiu Keng Guan has returned to Malaysia to produce a new movie slated for release in Chinese New Year 2023.

Titled Ma, I Love You the movie will tell a heartwarming story of a mother and daughter's bond and the proverbial need for every parent to let go of their children and let them live their own lives.

Its title characters are Mei Ling,the mother, who discovers that her daughter Kiki wants to further her studies in France. Knowing Kiki's intent, Mei takes it upon herself to learn French and earn more money so that she can accompany her daughter overseas.

Produced by Astro Shaw, Ma, I Love You will begin production this September. The production is currently running an open casting, and those interested to participate can submit their casting videos by uploading them on YouTube (Unlisted) and sending the link to [email protected] before 6 Jun 2022.

Director Chiu returns to our shores fresh off the back of the success of his film in China, The Great Dad that earned around RM98 million at the box office.
