On the 2nd of March 2019, I got engaged to my best friend. My parents were there as well as his, my aunties and uncle and his aunty and uncle. It was a small and intimate gathering as we sat down and discussed how the rest of our lives will pan out. I was nervous and excited at the same time and at times I wasn’t sure, all I needed to do was look him in the eyes and was reassured. We’re going to take our time before we nikah just so we can make the right decisions but for now yeah, wish us luck I guess ?
