Pick any modern Ferrari, and every one of them is masterpieces of automotive design. And although they do look outlandish most of the time, all of them are fit to be on posters that’ll be hung on the walls of any car nut. Appropriate, that is until you lay eyes on the all-new Ferrari Roma.

Right about now, any Italian exclamation exclaimed is warranted because this car is the best looking one to come out of Maranello in a long time. The sheet metal time travels from the 50s and 60s, bringing with it all the timeless curves of the era. You have the Ferrari Styling Centre to thank for Roma’s seemingly minimalistic exterior, a departure from recent styles.

The interior of the Ferrari showcases a new take on the dual-cockpit concept. The Roma’s cabin is split into two to create two separate cells, one for the driver and the other for the passenger. As with all modern supercars, screens are essential. The driver will have a 16-inch digital instrument cluster that displays all necessary driving information. The passenger also gets a screen, and in between the cells, an 8.4-inch vertical screen should display all other information like media and navigation.

Beauty is just part of the Roma’s appeal for this car is still very much a beast. Placed in the mid-front position, the turbocharged 3855cc V8 engine produces 611hp and 760Nm. Paired with the engine is an eight-speed DCT taken from the SF90 Stradale. The Ferrari Roma smashes the 0-100kph time in 3.4 seconds, 0-200kph in 9.3 seconds, and has a top speed of more than 320kph.

Expect the Ferrari Roma to start appearing in showrooms sometime in 2020, Malaysia included. We can’t wait to see this one in the flesh.
