Mechamato Makes History as the first Malaysian Animation to Win Top 100 Anime Fan Award in Tokyo
The Anime Fan Award is selected from works screened and broadcasted in a year from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022.
Voting was conducted for movie titles as well as TV series and contained crowd favourites like Spy X Family, One Piece, and even Dragon Ball.
Not only is it the first series Malaysian series to win this award, it is also the only non-Japanese title to ever win the highest ranking in the fan award.
