If you’ve been keeping up with the news, you would know by now the story of Cassandra Hsiao, an 18-year-old Malaysian-born immigrant who was accepted to all eight Ivy League schools (you can read her impressive application letter here).

Cassandra spent five years of her early life in Malaysia before moving to the States with her parents.

But, we’re not here to talk about that. We’re here to talk about what she was up to before this and also her YouTube channel.

That's because the future Ivy League student has a job that’ll make most Malaysians green with envy – she's actually a journalist who has done tonnes of red carpet interviews and press junkets with a number of Hollywood A-listers.

She has interviewed Emma Watson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Auli’i Cravalho, Chris Evans, and Taron Egerton just to name a few.

We know, just listing the names down is already enough to make us jealous, but what an impressive achievement for an 18-year-old, eh?

You can find all of her interviews on her Youtube channel.

Among all of the interviews Cassandra has previously done, there was one that stood out for us: instead of asking a question like we mere mortals do, she actually rapped it!

During a media interview with the cast of Moana recently, Cassandra showed off her rapping skills to someone who she knows will appreciate it – Broadway musical actor Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Everyone knows how skillful Miranda’s rapping skills are, but nothing could ever prepare him for what was coming.

After Cassandra stunned the cast of Moana - which included Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson - by rapping her question, Miranda did a sort-of mic drop before everyone else in the room applauded Cassandra’s hidden talent.

So, not only is Cassandra super-duper smart, she also has a natural talent at hosting an interview. She's definitely one well-rounded individual that younger kids should look up to.

We wish her all the best in her future endeavours and who knows, maybe she’ll be a very successful TV host one day.
