The school holidays are here and LEGO Malaysia has prepared something exciting for those of you who are young at heart (because who said that LEGO is only meant for kids?).

The brain behind the world-favourite colourful toy bricks just launched the #BuildAmazingMY campaign that aims to inspire creative and fun building activities among Malaysians, both young and old, beginning with the ‘Cities of Wonders’ event at Pavilion KL.

Pavilion KL has been transformed into a life-size LEGO city that looks just like 'The Lego Movie' brought to life!
From now until Sunday, 4 June, parents can bring your kids over to the mall to explore the Cities of Wonders featuring these four special LEGO activity stations.

Emma’s Photo Studio

Build a camera with LEGO bricks.

Stephanie’s Cupcake Kitchen

Decorate cupcakes using only LEGO bricks scooped from a bucket.

Police Station

Build a LEGO mosaic of villains that need to be caught.

City Jungle

Locate four jewels before the villains find them.
Just get your kids to solve the challenges and collect stickers at each station and there will be a gift waiting for them at the end of the trail.

LEGO Malaysia also kicked off its ‘My Own Creation’ contest on Facebook which runs until 16 June. All you need to do build anything that highlights the wonders of Malaysia in the most creative way possible, of course, using LEGO bricks.

Start building right away and wait for the weekly prizes that will be given out on LEGO Malaysia’s Facebook page every Wednesday!

Besides the challenges and contest, LEGO has also created four Mini Builds that is exclusive to us Malaysians and a first-time in the history of LEGO because it features four of our wonderful culture – Bunga Raya, Kampung, Wau and Ketupat.

The Bunga Raya.Kampung.Ketupat.Wau.
These Mini Builds are produced in very limited quantities that will be released every Saturday through 17 June, starting with the Bunga Raya which was just released over the weekend.

But wait, there’s a catch! These limited edition Mini Builds will only be available to those who have purchased a minimum of RM300 worth of LEGO products. So if you’re an avid LEGO collector, we bet you’ll get your hands on these in no time!

Last but not least, aiming to keep the creative juices flowing during this well-deserved mid-year break, the #BuildAmazingMY campaign is also hosting a LEGO mosaic building event at Pavilion KL, the largest of its kind!

In conjunction with the festive season, LEGO invites passionate fans from all over to contribute to this ambitious project over a period of two weekends on 9-11 June and 16-18 June. The goal is to secure a new Malaysian record for the LEGO community!

So do bring your families and friends and check out the colourful LEGO Cities of Wonders event this Ramadhan!
