The beauty industry has long demonised aging or any "flaws" that are often just the natural result of humans growing older.

But things are slowly changing with brands trying to be more inclusive.

One great example of this is beauty and skincare brand Saie Beauty getting 99-year-old Helene Simon to model for one of its products!

The glow!

Simon went viral recently when she started her modelling career at 99, after being persuaded by her granddaughter and founder of Saie Beauty.

Laney Crowell initially asked her Instagram followers if she should get her grandmother on board as the face of Saie.

An overwhelming number of people said yes but not Simon, who is fondly known as Nanna.

"A woman with 99 years of life under her belt definitely has better things to do than sit in on a shoot for us, but, after 10 phone calls from various family members and the promise that our shoot would be quick, she was *almost* convinced," the brand shared on its Instagram page.

What ultimately convinced Nanna? Finding out that she will be photographed by the same photographer who took pictures of American basketball played Stephen Curry.

"Nanna is The Warrior's biggest fan and she now has serious bragging rights with her friends!" the post read.
