JDX Presto Concept Store is the product of a joint effort between PUC, Smuzcity and Jingdong China to create a cashless retail scene in Malaysia.

They consider the store to be the future of retail, where technology meets retail. With that in mind, they’ve positioned the Concept Store as the largest cashless concept store in Asean.

So, how do you pay for the items you want? By using their own e-wallet – PrestoPay. Just scan the product’s QR code and it will be automatically placed into your shopping cart.

With just a tap of the button, you can pay for your purchases.

#3 You can pick up the products yourself, or have them delivered for free

Instead of shopping online and having to return products that you’re unhappy with (ugh, we hate that, don’t we?), you can now see, touch and access a product before purchasing – all with a little assistance from technology, of course.

Also, you don’t need to worry about lugging all your purchases around the store or even home. All you have to do is scan the QR code of the product you’re interested in, pay at the end of your shopping spree and collect the products as you leave.

You can also arrange for a free home delivery and receive the items within seven working days.

#4 An AI fridge at your service

We know how tiring shopping can be, so don’t worry; JDX Presto Concept Store has got you covered.

Whenever you feel like you need a drink, just head over to the AI and RFID-powered fridge located inside the store to purchase your favourite beverage. To unlock the unmanned fridge, you just need to scan the QR code and you can proceed to pick out your favourite items.

Once the door closes, it will automatically deduct the total incurred from your e-wallet. Cool huh?

#5 Goodies for everybody

You can start feeding the shopaholic in you beginning 12 December 2019, the day that JDX Presto Concept Store opens its doors to the public.

To celebrate the opening of this super high-tech store, they are giving you a chance to save on selected products and even win amazing prizes.

For starters, the first 300 customers will get to purchase selected products at only RM12.12!

(You can start queuing for the products as early as 8.30am on the day, and start going in at 11am to pick the best items)
