Abang Polis Helps New Father Who Was Frantically Looking For Milk In The Middle Of The Night
Several policemen from a Kuala Pilah police station won praises online after coming to the rescue of a new father, who was frantically looking for formula milk for his one-day-old son.
According to a Facebook post on the Ibu Pejabat Polis Kuala Pilah page, the man rushed to the nearest 24-hour convenience store to get milk at about 1am on 24 November, but the store was closed due to the Controlled Movement Control Order (CMCO).
The first-time father left his home early in the morning to look for milk as his son was crying, and the mother could not produce enough breast milk to satisfy the newborn's hunger.
A helping hand
Zul was stopped by some policemen on patrol. He explained that he was out looking for milk and forgot that shops closed by 10pm during the CMCO."I was stopped, and two policemen, Tuan Dini and Tuan Fikri asked me to follow them to the Kuala Pilah police quarters to give me some milk," Zul wrote to the Kuala Pilah IPD's Facebook page.
Tuan Dini then gave Zul a box of milk, saving the day!
Zul thanked the kind policemen for their assistance.
Congratulations, Zul and well done abang-abang polis for showing such empathy as well as helping someone in need.
