Remember last month when we published this story of an Indian couple who named their newborn twins ‘Corona’ and ‘Covid’ to remind them of the deadly COVID-19 pandemic?

We joked that more parents will be taking cue from this couple and naming their kids after the pandemic.

Guess what? It has happened again!

'This is our contribution'

According to a report by Mirror UK, another couple from India has named their newborn ‘Sanitiser’.

Yup, the baby is named after the essential item that experts advised us to use if we can't wash our hands in the toilet.

The report, quoting a news piece by Kidspot, said that the parents chose the name Sanitiser as the disinfectant has the capacity to fight against the virus.

"Whenever people will talk of corona, they will remember that it was sanitiser that saved them.

"Everyone is fighting against this virus, from our prime minister to ordinary people. This is our contribution,” dad Omvir Singh, from Saharanpur in India, was quoted as saying.

We actually do not know what to say, but one thing's for sure though: it would definitely make headlines when little Sanitiser grows up, goes to school and befriends a kid named Toilet Paper.
