Been eagerly waiting to hit the cinemas after the pandemic is over?

Well, your wait has ended.

The pandemic is far from over, but you can enjoy a movie at the cinemas again starting 16 December.

Selected cinemas to open again.
The Star Online reported that GSC Cinemas and MBO Cinemas had confirmed the reopening of their cinemas next week.

But before you guys head to the nearest cinema, not all of them will be opened, OK?

According to the report, only cinemas located in the recovery movement control order (RMCO) areas would be reopened.

On top of that, the reopening of the cinemas is subjected to changes depending on the current situation.

For GSC cinemas, the outlets reopened are in Aman Central, Kedah; Gurney Plaza, Penang; Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang; Dataran Pahlawan, Melaka; AEON Bandaraya, Melaka; Alamanda, Putrajaya; Mentakab Star Mall, Pahang; and CityOne Megamall, Kuching, Sarawak.

While for MBO, cinemas located at Kedah, Melaka, Johor, Pahang and Sarawak under RMCO are set to reopen on 16 December as well.
