Find yourself hating going to the mall these days because of the standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the government?

To be honest, we feel that it's too much of a hassle to visit a shop, because there's just so many times we can sanitise our hands during one visit, right?

Well, fret not; it's going to be a tad easier and less of a hassle from now on.

One time is enough, thanks

Senior Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob announced during a press briefing on Monday (29 June) that shopping mall patrons will only need to have their temperature taken just once, at the entry point of the mall.

So, instead of having your temperature taken at every single shop you enter (urgh!), you do it just once when you enter the mall.

Phew!

Less hassle to visit a mall now.
However, he told Malay Mail that said shops will still continue to record your contact information through the MySejahtera app for tracing purposes.

The same SOP applies for hotels too, Ismail was quoted as saying.

“They only need to go through the temperature screening once and then they can go into the different premises or restaurants and give their details there."

And always remember to wear a face mask if you're heading to the mall, yeah?
