Remember the crazy flash floods that we experienced in the city center last week?

Not only did it wreak havoc on us city dwellers, it looks like the flash floods even affected our animal friends.

Snakes spotted in the city

Several videos showing snakes slithering around the city center have gone viral on social media.

In one of the videos shared by the Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS page on Facebook, a long snake can be seen slithering in the rising waters outside Surau Al-Falah Danau Kota.

In another video posted by Bernama TV on Twitter, a python was spotted appearing from a drain near the Festival City Mall in Setapak.
Despite the sightings, Malaysians felt bad for the snakes.

Many netizens were hoping that the snakes were unharmed, while a majority of them were saying that the snakes must have been displaced and forced out of their homes due to the flash floods.

Let's pray that our snake friends managed to find their way back home.
