Unsung heroes are everywhere!

Case in point: two kakak firefighters recently risked their lives to rescue a dog with a plastic container stuck on its head from a Genting Highlands hillside.

It was a challenge

The daring rescue mission was shared by the Genting Highlands Fire and Rescue Station on its Facebook page:

According to the Facebook post, the station received a distress call from a kind Samaritan about a stray dog whose head had gotten trapped inside a plastic container near Batu Berayun.

The station then dispatched two kakak firefighters known as Lovely and Norasyikin to the scene to rescue the poor dog.

The duo managed to locate the dog near the hillside, but due to the thick vegetation, they were forced to move the dog to a safer location before attempting to remove the container from its head.

Thankfully, after much coaxing, the dog approached the firefighters and they managed to bring the dog to a safer location.

Lovely and Norasyikin then used a pair of scissors to snip off the plastic container and set the poor dog free.
