Malay Mail reported that a competition to find the biggest belly in Malaysia will be held on 1 December at the Beaufort Sports Complex in Sabah.
The organising chairman of the competition, Alex Soo, told the news portal that the objective of the contest is to celebrate men with bellies.
“You only have contests that highlight one’s good looks. Why not the body shape?”
“Contestants will need to dress up and walk on a stage. They will then be judged by a team of judges with feedback from those on the floor to be taken into consideration,” he was quoted as saying.
The competition is opened to men big bellies aged 30 years and above, and the winner will take home RM400, second prize is worth RM300 and the third prize winner will get RM200.
There will also be six consolation prizes worth RM50 each, so you can have, like, 20 roti canai to celebrate.
