Kata Vivy sepanjang menggunakan media sosial sejak tujuh tahun lalu, isi kandungan memainkan peranan penting selain foto 'outfit of the day' (ootd) dan swafoto yang menjadi trend masa kini.

I totally wasted my 10,000th post on @fadzaanuar aka Thanos yesterday but I thought it was pretty cool that I passed the 10,000 posts mark! This is post number 10,001 and I thought I’d commemorate my first ever post on Instagram in 2012 - a pic of nasi lemak no vege no sambal, clearly I haven’t changed ? Bad lighting, bad editing, got border some more! #cringe Went down memory lane scrolling through all those posts and it was so nice to be reminded of my journey. Good times, bad times, people who have come and gone, projects that have succeeded and failed, collaborations that worked and didn’t work, it all made me smile. Beautiful memories for me. And it’s all thanks to Instagram that we have a platform to reflect on our past. Social media has its good and bad. We need to be able to enjoy the ride without worrying about our feed alignment, without worrying about likes and comments, without all those social pressures. I see too many younger social media influencers doing just that these days, without realising that you need to influence with substance first. And substance is more than a perfect ootd or a flawless selfie. Depression rate among the youth now is worrying and I do think social media pressures play a part. For 7 years I’ve posted every single day ? That’s pretty crazy when I think about it. Yet I’ve never felt the need to do a social media detox. Enjoy the good of it and accept the bad of it, that’s all. Above all, you MUST have a life that you absolutely love living for, outside of social media... that you then post about on Instagram. ? But you know what I mean right? Basically Life > Instagram. Not the other way around. #dengarkakvivycakapok #happy10Kposttome!
